If I had to compare the two I would say that the painting has a lot more texture on the birds and the water compared to mine. And also The painting has the ducks in the front of the painting and is kinda the main focus along with the birds. Compared to my piece that has the ducks a little farther back on the piece and is on top of the wave kinda. Overall the painting has more details and has the ducks in view and in my piece the ocean a bit backwards in the view.
Winslow Homer Created this piece as a piece of Art about nature and the great vast sea that there is. I believe that Winslow Homer Created this piece not only because there are plenty of places that we have yet explored and one of those being the ocean but also the nature around the sea and or ocean. I also think that this piece took a long time to make all of the tiny details. All of these tiny details being the way the ocean is moving or how the ducks are flying and the way you can almost see them moving and all of colors used on this piece. With all of this in mind you can see the great efforts that Winslow Homer had made to create this wonderful piece .
My plan for this Final is to make a slab and use my hand to make a wave like piece on top of this slap and slip and score it to the slab and make the ducks with my hands by looking at images of ducks and to make the ducks look like they are flying.
